So over the summer I've been fascinated with ancient ruins and their true origins. It is only recently that I have been watching documentaries and theories of how these magnificent structures came to be. What blew my mind was the finding that the pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx are actually a lot older than ancient Egyptian civilization. It was to believed that these pyramids were tombs to hold a pharaoh and his queen but new studies show that the pyramids may have been used for something else. Archeologist believe the pyramids purpose was to conduct electricity. (mind blown)!!!!

Another interesting thing that puzzled scientist was how the pyramids were built. Knowing what we know about ancient Egyptians, they documented everything! Seriously everything. What they didn't document was the building of the pyramids though. You would think that if they built these beautiful monuments that they would at least gloat a little about them on their tomb walls and scrolls but no evidence was found of these. You may be thinking but in the bible it says that slaves built the pyramid and then they were freed by Moses. That may have been true that there was slaves, but they most definitely could not have built the pyramid. The way the pyramid is laid out is too accurate for humans to do without advance technologies: something they most definitely didn't have.

So with that, its all up to interpretation and imagination for you to figure out how the pyramids were built!
